The Kiwi Conservation Club is a Forest and Bird project
for children.
Kids love learning about the natural world and how to protect it. The Kiwi Conservation
Club is for young people. It encourages an appreciation of
nature, and promotes fun, conservation-based activities.
For a small annual fee each member receives:
five copies of the fun-packed KCC magazine
a personalised membership certificate and stickers
notification of planned local activities
Membership is available to individuals, families, schools and other groups.
With a current membership of over 6,000, including around 1,000 New Zealand
schools, the KCC magazine and its associated website are fast becoming a popular
resource for families and schools.

Kiwi Conservation Club for Children Website The KCC website is a growing resource, packed with information about New
Zealand wildlife and wild places. The website has been specifically developed
for children, so they will enjoy the site and gather valuable information for
school projects.
Information on the KCC website includes educator resources, how kids can
help the world, a glossary of conservation terms, a conservation event calendar
and Fact Sheets on conservation topics, such as the Black Robin, Extinct Birds
of NZ, Hoiho, Hectors Dolphin, Kakapo, Kiwi, NZ National Parks and Weta.
