Department of Conservation. Independent Panel's proposals for new "Maruia/Waiau"
National Park , Kawatiri Conservation Park, Mawhera Conservation Park, and
extensions to Paparoa and Westland/Tai Poutini National Parks to be investigated.
DoC West Coast to get additional funding of $1.3 million to manage new conservation
lands.
