The Co-operative Bank's, Bruce McLachlan, and Forest & Bird's Mike Britton Forest & Bird is thrilled to announce a community partnership with The Co-operative Bank. On a sunny windless day at Pauatahanui Reserve Bruce McLachlan is postive about the prospects for the partnership, and particularly impressed with the reserve and our Forest & Bird volunteer tour guide, Wanda Tate, "We are very happy to be supporting Forest & Bird and their wonderful community projects. I find it inspirational to meet a person like Wanda who has spent so many hours on this project and turned it from a haphazard dump into a wonderful nature reserve." Mike Britton is also very pleased with the partnership. "The Co-operative Bank and Forest & Bird are both membership and community-based organisations. I believe this partnership will be a great fit for our members and that they will appreciate the member ownership of the Co-operative Bank." The Co-operative Bank is offering Forest & Bird members a special banking package, and helping out with appeals. Bank staff may also muck in on Forest & Bird projects.
