The Central Auckland branch offers awards to students and schools throughout the region -
- Each year, we run a 'green schools award' competition that sponsors a conservation-related project to the tune of $1000. Only primary and intermediate schools in the Auckland region are eligible to apply for this award. More
- The branch also gives money to some of the best research projects at Auckland University's Biodiversity and Biosecurity department (formerly Geography, Geology and Science department)at Tamaki Campus. In the past we have funded research into everything from ecological toilets to pest control. More
- We support other one-off awards to relevant research being done by postgrad students at institutes in Auckland. More
