Thanks to these people who put their names forward
The financial accounts show that our main donations during this financial year (2011) were $50,000 to Head Office endoment fund and $11,000 to the Head Office Ruapehu Lodge appeal The main direct expenditures to the branch were for the production and delivery of its three newsletters during the year (this total amount is vastly reduced by increasing numbers of members receiving the newsletter by email), and for advertising and promotion.
This is in addition to a donation of $45,000 last year (2010) for the buiding of the KCC website, and $5,000 for KCC co-ordinators camps. The year before (2009) this Central Auckland branch funded the employment of a co-ordinator to run Mauis Dolphin campaign to the tune of $60,000.
The main income over all these years has been from several significant bequests to the branch, which are very much appreciated.
