Awards

The Central Auckland branch offers three awards to students and schools throughout the region -

Each year, we run a 'green schools award' competition that sponsors a conservation-related project to the tune of $1000. Only primary and intermediate schools in the Auckland region are eligible to apply for this award. More
The branch also gives money to some of the best research projects at Auckland University's Geography, Geology and Science department. In the past we have funded research into everything from ecological toilets to pest control. More
Lastly, we sponsor a prize for the best research project at the NZ Ecological Society Annual Conference. More
