Trips and Work Parties

Trip leaders should set the fee each person pays their driver. Public Liability Insurance held by Forest and Bird covers members only.

Trip Gradings

E – EASY on formed undulating tracks/paths.
M – MODERATE on good tracks with some climbing.
F – FIT steeper climbing on bus tracks/routes. Possibly stream crossings.

Etrampers

The Forest and Bird Ewalkers group meets each Wednesday at 10am somewhere in the Wellington region for a tramp of between three and four hours. For more information phone:

Members are welcome to attend all meetings in this combined program.
Members are welcome on trips. Warm clothing and strong footwear are essential on most trips.
Trip leaders reserve the right to decline anyone deemed to be unfit or inadequately prepared. For more information, check with the trip leader. Please telephone between 9.00am and 9.00pm
Where requested, please advise trip leader as early as possible if you intend to join a trip.
Children under the age of 15 must be in the care of an adult on most trips.
Plants are not to be collected.
Dogs are not allowed on trips.
