Meetings
We hold monthly public meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. Details of the venue for each meeting will be posted on the website and sent out to members. Guest speakers discuss various environmental topics and issues and all members are welcome to attend.
Trips and Events
We organise regular trips and events, details of which will be posted on the website and notices sent to all members. Our most recent trip was to Lees Valley about which Committee member Zuni Steer wrote a very interesting trip report.
In 2010 we held two environmental forums in the lead up to the local body elections. The mayoral candidates and a cross-section of party and independent City Council candidates had their say, while they listened to the audiences’ views about Canterbury's natural ecosystems and resources.
