Working together for Kea

Working together for Kea

The Kea Conservation Trust’s annual Winter Advocacy Tour will run for 10 days from Tuesday 26 June – Friday 6 July. Tamsin Orr-Walker and Dr Lorne Roberts (Unitec, NZ), will be delivering the talk which will be held in

Wanaka at the St John’s Room, Link Way on

Monday 2nd July at 7.30pm,

in partnership with the Central Otago Lake Branch of Forest & Bird and the Department of Conservation.

This year’s talk, entitled Working together for Kea, will focus on how communities working together, can achieve positive conservation results. As part of the advocacy tour we will also show those people keen to drive local kea advocacy initiatives how they can get started. We will also be visiting as many schools as possible and showcasing snippets of our new kid’s kea conservation DVD.
