Meet at 98 Park Hill Rd. (off Birkenhead Ave) at the northern entrance to the reserve at 9:30am. Bring a bottle of water, a raincoat and a snack plus binoculars if you have them. Allow 2.5 hours. The most striking feature of this area is the mass of Arundo donax, a tall exotic grass which has naturalised on the North Shore.
