Meet at 10am at the end of Merrill Place, off Eskdale Rd, Birkdale, for a tour of an area which is specifically used for growing flax. Judy te Hiwi will take us around the site to show us the flax they are growing and into the bush to see some of the native plants they use and then there will be a demonstration of weaving.
