Paticipants are invited to create a winged outfit and then leap into the harbour on Wellington Anniversary Day - Monday 21 January.

The judges will be looking for highly original designs, so we encourage participants to whip up something outrageous.

New Zealand’s native birds and their colourful plumage are bound to inspire your costume. however you're welcome to take your inspiration from anywhere - current events, extreme athletes or mythical creatures.

Anything goes!

The judging panel includes Mayor Celia Wade Brown, comedian Raybon Kan and several members from the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra.
