Building sustainable water supply for villages in Vanuatu.

Engineers Without Borders New Zealand (EWB) have recently finished work on four water supplies on the remote island of Ambrym, Vanuatu. Vanuatu is prone to cyclones and droughts, which are becoming more frequent as a result of climate change. The new water supplies provide a climate change resilient water supply to two villages on Ambrym.

The project was carried out in partnership with Rotary and the local Council.

Matthew Lillis, a member of Forest and Bird in the Waikato, was the project manager, and will be speaking about his experience on the project.
