Clean-up at Archibald Reserve in Kelston alongside Whau River

FOREST AND BIRD SPRING CLEAN OF ARCHIBALD

The Forest and Bird Spring Clean of Archibald Reserve on the River Whau is on Saturday 18th February.  The start time is 10am and we will finish up with a free sausage sizzle at 12.30pm.

Friends of the Whau (FOW) have been involving the community in streamside restoration in the Whau catchment for over 10 years. They operate in New Lynn, Avondale, and neighbouring areas. Sites FOW are particularly active at include the Kurt Brehmer Walkway in Rosebank and Archibald Park in Kelston. Their primary activity is native re-vegetation but they also organise clean ups of litter hotspots in the Whau catchment.

To join this activity please contact Jane j.ferguson@forestandbird.org.nz

To organize this day we require numbers as soon as possible.  Thanks!
