Mackenzie Action Weekend - 24-25 April
Calling everyone with an interest in protecting the Mackenzie Basin from intensive dairying and development to a weekend of action and learning. Staying at the Back Packers in Twizel. Meet at Twizel mid day Saturday 24th .
Bring your own bedding, breakfasts and lunch, snacks and drinks. Saturday night dinner provided. We will go site seeing, help remove wilding trees, have a campaign workshop and in the evening speakers will introduce us to the values of and threats to the Mackenzie Basin. We will try to run buses or minibuses if possible depending on numbers registering. Twizel is having a Dawn Parade for any one wishing to remember ANZAC.
