Sixteen members who joined in our Hokianga weekend last February agreed it was a great idea to repeat. This year we have booked into the very popular ARC (now Auckland Council) Huia Lodge, on the north shore of the Manukau Harbour, which accommodates up to 24 people in good bunk-rooms. There are heaps of Waitakere walks in the vicinity - and a visit is easily made to wild and wonderful Whatipu.

The price per person is dependant on numbers and joint catering, but is unlikely to exceed $40. Last year a similar cost provided 2 near-gourmet dinners on Friday and Saturday nights + ingredients for Saturday’s paper-bag lunch.
