For Seaweek this year we will join with Forest & Bird and learn a little about tides and what lives in the intertidal zone. We will also have some fun with sand sculptures and other beachcrafts. It is Children’s Day today!!
Meet 3.30 pm at the far western end (towards Mapua) of Rabbit Island carpark. We can have a sunset barbeque afterwards.
Bring Barbeque food and utensils, firewood, paper and lighters (TDC have gas barbeques but we can’t guarantee that we will be able to “claim” one of these). Sunhat, sunscreen, personal first aid kit, togs, wet weather and warm weather clothing.
