Outline The Great White Butterfly was first found in New Zealand in Nelson in May 2010. While a serious pest of brassica crops it is also known to feed on a range of other non-crop brassica species. DOC was motivated to undertake an eradication programme due to the potential threat to a range of critically endangered endemic cress (Lepidium) species. Photo Credit: Chris Green
