June 30 Saturday : Garden Bird Survey
Meet at Kelston Community Centre 9.30 am or at Twin Lakes Country Garden 83 Sunnyside Rd Coatesville at 10 am.
There will be an entrance fee. Bring warm clothes, a hot drink, a chair, paper and pencil. We will find a sunny spot and relax as we contribute to ornithological studies! You may want to go home and repeat the process in your garden!
John Staniland and Janie Vaughan will guide you through the very simple process. No experience needed, just a passing interest in our local birds. 100,000 lists were submitted in the American Garden Bird Survey. NZ won’t get that many but we can contribute!
