The Environment Court will hear an application for declarations an enforcement orders by Forest & Bird in New Plymouth commencing at 11 am on 3 August.

The hearing will consider the provisions in the New Plymouth District Plan that relate to the protection of significant natural areas (SNA’s).

Forest & Bird are seeking that a number of additional sites are added to the list of SNA’s in the District Plan, which will afford them greater protection.
