Nelson-Tasman Conservation Week

14-22 September 2019

Saturday 14 September.  Pearl Creek Working Bee.  
POSTPONED to Saturday 5/October because of the forecast wet weather.   

Meet at the end of Cotterell Road, Appleby at 9am.   Cutting back tree lucerne, releasing plants etc.  Bring morning tea, garden gloves and spade and if you have secateurs/loppers or pruning saw that could be handy.  For more info contact Malcolm m.hugman@hotmail.com, ph 547 3906

Tuesday 17 September.  Paremata Flats restoration working bee
One of the most important management roles in any ecological restoration is weed management, at Paremata Flats Reserve we undertake bi annual grid searching of all our plantings removing all nasty weeds, join us to help with an integral part of ecological restoration, come and appreciate the massive ecological changes at Paremata Flats Reserve.
We meet at 9.30 am at Paremata Flats Reserve every Tuesday, weather permitting, bring spade, gloves, solid footwear,  secateurs, food and drink, drive onto the Reserve off Maori Pa Rd and look out for my white single cab flat deck truck.
