An exciting new ecological restoration being undertaken by Nelson Tasman Forest and Bird.

The American owners of a 6 HA property at the end of Research Orchard Rd in Appleby have asked Forest and Bird due to our ecological restoration efforts at Paremata Flats Reserve to undertake an ecological restoration of their property. The owners have agreed to register a QE 2 covenant over their property to ensure the ecological restoration will forever have statutory protection. It will take around four years to plant the 55000 native trees and the funding for the trees will be generously provided by the owners.
