Tony Whiting will focus in his talk on birds, whales, seals etc which he encountered over the last 30 years sailing between the NZ Sub Antarctic’s and the Northern Cook Islands with many other nature shots, including the amazing mega herbs of the sub Antarctic’s.
The presenter has been fortunate to have been sailing the Pacific for the last 50 years, including NZ to Alaska and five South Pacific circuits and has a particular interest in pelagic seabirds.
He'll share some of his amazing stories and beautiful pictures with us at this free talk, the first one for 2025 as part of the monthly Third Thursday Talks series by Forest & Bird Waitakere.
