Our Special Place - Our Special Birds.
The North Canterbury Branch of Forest and Bird is supporting the Arthur's Pass Summer Programme which will take place from 31st December 2022 to 7th January 2023. The programme can be viewed here and also on facebook.
There is much to be learnt of the wonderful biodiversity of the National Park and the history of the Pass, and we hope people will become much more aware of the plight of the kea, including the carnage that is being caused, unknowingly, by people feeding them....!
As part of the programme, the North Canterbury Branch is sponsoring a Photo competition, details of which can be viewed here. We invite everyone from professionals to young photographers to participate.
