Forest & Bird is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading independent conservation organisation with over 100,000 members, supporters and volunteers.

The Forest & Bird Big Birthday Bash (BBB) parties are being hosted in three locations across Aotearoa New Zealand over weekend of 25-26 March 2023 to celebrate the Society's 100th anniversary of conservation mahi.

We would like to invite you to The Forest & Bird Big Birthday Bash on Sunday 26 March 2023 at Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve in Marlborough.

We’ll have family-friendly activities including self-guided scavenger hunts, tours of the reserves and more! There will also be speeches and cake to mark this momentous day and the significant work that Forest & Bird has accomplished in the last 100 years.

The Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve is the centre of Forest & Bird’s Te Hoiere Bat Recovery Project, which is supported by the Marlborough and Nelson-Tasman branches of Forest & Bird.

Everyone is welcome, bring your family, friends and a picnic. We hope to see you there!

When: 12pm, Sunday 26 March 2023
Note: If wet, the event will be postponed till the next weekend, Sunday 02 April.
