On the first Saturday of the month, except January, volunteers meet to wage war on weeds in Kakahu Bush.

Meet at the historic lime kiln on Hall Road at 9.30 am. Bring food and fluid to keep you going, and prickle-proof gloves and clothing for protection. We also would like everyone to carry a whistle, to attract attention in case of an emergency or loss of direction.

If you have any questions, please contact John Talbot (03 614 7896) by 8:30 a.m. on the day. To carpool from Timaru, please contact Fraser Ross (03 684 3382).

Nature needs your support

Supporting Forest & Bird is one of the best things you can do for New Zealand's environment. We need people like you to support us, so that nature will always have a voice.
