Forest and Bird and Sumner Environment group are working with the CCC to restore native bush to this CCC reserve behind Sumner). All working bees are at the lower Mahoe-nui site.

We meet at 9am on the corner of Wakefield Ave and Colenso Street in Sumner to car pool up to the site. Clippers for cutting the grass back from young native plants will be supplied by the Port Hills rangers. Bring your own gardening gloves if you have them. Morning tea afterward if covid restrictions allow. Wear sturdy footwear, and warm clothes. Please stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
