We are helping the Port Hills rangers create a corridor of native bush up a valley behind Sumner (off Evans Pass Rd). On this working-bee, we'll be planting natives.

All working bees are held at Lower Mahoe-nui (opposite Rapanui Bush on Evans Pass Rd) from 9.15-11.30am . We meet at 9am at the corner of Wakefield Avenue and Colenso Street to register and carpool up to the site.

Volunteers are required to be double vaccinated as per Forest and Birds covid Policy. Masks must be worn in the car if car pooling but are not required while planting.

The Port Hills rangers supply spades or clippers and have some gloves but bring your own gloves if you have them  Morning tea supplied after each working bee.
