The Southern Ocean surrounding Antarctica is the last wilderness on earth. Home to nearly 10,000, it makes up 10% of the world’s ocean. Kimberley Collins, who works for the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition, will talk about why this unique area needs protection and her work with the international Comission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR).
