Want to know what the Waitaki District Council Biodiversity Advisor does? “I’m not a greenie, but ….” The Council’s Significant Natural Areas Programme (SNAP) is for identifying and protecting indigenous biodiversity on private land. Max Crowe, Biodiversity Advisor, will explain what it is, why we’re doing it, and will share some of the rewards and conflicts that have arisen along the way.
