Our AGM and June winter talk will be held on Thursday - 5th June, starting at 7.00pm in the Southgate Room, The Oaks (upstairs of Warkworth Hotel), Warkworth.
In this month's winter talk, which will follow the AGM marine scientist, Dr. Samantha Ladewig from University of Auckland’s Leigh Marine Laboratory, will share findings from her research into how microplastics interact with NZ coastal ecosystems. Sam will discuss what these changes mean for the Mahurangi Harbour community and the broader Hauraki Gulf. She will discuss how the choices we make today can shape the future health of Aotearoa’s coastal ecosystems and the communities that depend on them
I hope you can make it along. If you're interested in joining our committee, please get in touch with us for more details.
Kind regards, Tim Armitage
