Forest & Bird's Dunedin Branch is hosting a working bee to remove wilding pines from the hills behind Dunedin.
We will focus our efforts on the pines above the Otago Tramping and Mountaineering Club's Ben Rudd Reserve. We will enter off the Bull Ring car park on the Flagstaff track.
We will be using large hand saws and also drilling and poisoning on small to medium sized pines. If you have a battery drill it will be useful to bring along.
Please bring boots, rain gear, old clothes, lunch. Expect lawyer vine.
