- Information published by Forest & Bird (“Promoter”) on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
- Entry is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years and over (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
- The Promotion commences on 24 May 2021 and closes 15 August 2021 (“Promotion Period”).

- Entry is limited to one per person.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to making multiple entries or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
- The prize is for one adult to join the Footsteps on Conservation Heritage Tour. Please refer to tour itinerary for details but in summary the prize includes:
- Guiding services of tour naturalist and Forest & Bird President, Mark Hanger
- All tour travel departing Dunedin and terminating in Nelson
- Accommodation x 10 nights in comfortable hotels and motels.
- Three meals daily with exception of lunch at Lake Moeraki and evening meal on night in Te Anau.
- Ferry to and from Rakiura/Stewart Island
- Ulva Island visit
- Permit fees where applicable.
- Information folio including species lists for each area visited
- Accommodation offered as part of the prize is provided on a twin-share basis. For a guaranteed single room, the prize winner will be required to contact Nature Quest and pay the single-room supplement
- The tour departs on 10 October 2021 or 20 March 2022. The prize winner must be available for either tour date as whilst we will try and accommodate preferred dates, booking is subject to availability and at the discretion of the Promoter.
- This prize draw is run in conjunction with Nature Quest https://www.naturequest.co.nz/. Nature Quest take full responsibility for the running of the tour and associated activities.
- If you request further information / itineraries for the Forest & Bird Fundraising tours, your contact information will be shared with Nature Quest for the purpose of providing you with the information requested. You can unsubscribe from this at any time.
- The prize draw will be conducted on 18 August 2021. The winner will be chosen at random from all entrants and will be notified by 25 August 2021.
- The winner will notified by phone or email. If three reasonable attempts to contact a winner have been made within 1 week after the draw and that winner is still unavailable, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be randomly chosen.
- By accepting the prize you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
- The winners consent to the Promoter using their name, city of residence, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by Promoter.
- Prizes are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
- Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
- The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Promoter reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend this promotion at any time.
- Additional travel, accommodation and other expenses associated with receiving or utilising the prize is not included.
