The Government’s new freshwater policies will go a long way to restoring waterways in New Zealand by curbing pollution and improving protection for wetland habitats – but they could go further. This is why we need your help.
Right now, public meetings are being held around Aotearoa. Your voice is so important. We must balance the agriculture industry complaints at these meetings. It's now or never to solve New Zealand's freshwater crisis.

They were unfortunately announced with very short notice, but we need to make an impression so the Government knows clean healthy water for people and animals is precious to New Zealanders.

There will be a chance to make a written submission on the Government’s freshwater policy later this month. But now is the time to show up in person and tell the Government you support strong rules to save our fresh water.
It’s so important to make sure they hear more voices for nature at public meetings. Our native freshwater fish, birds, and insects need you
