Sunday 3 March, 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Triangle of bush near the junction of Bullock Track and Old Mill Road
We’ll be holding our next volunteer afternoon at the Bullock Track Bush in the first weekend in March.
We’ll meet at the top of the track by the corner of Old Mill Road and the Bullock Track as before, and work our way down the path.
There are both young and well-established natives in this patch of bush, but the area is also in need of maintenance, with many pest plant species also flourishing. Our plan is to remove the pests and carry out further planting of natives.
We’re inviting supporters and local residents in the area to join in the volunteer work. Don't forget to bring sturdy footwear, gardening gloves, secateurs and weeding tools if you have them. You are welcome to join for just a short while, or the whole two hours!
Please note: the area is steep and muddy in places, and there is no fence between the bush and the road – children are welcome, but will need to be accompanied by an adult able to closely supervise.
Please email Natasha at Bullocktrackbush@gmail.com  if you have any questions.
