Mark Anderson’s talk is titled Conservation of the rarest beetles in Aotearoa/New Zealand,
This talk is about why we should care about the conservation of invertebrates and why the work is incredibly challenging compared to conservation of vertebrates. I will share with you how diverse our beetle fauna is with high levels of local endemism, many of them critically endangered. Finally, I will explain what anyone can do to help with invertebrate conservation.
