Join us on Saturday 29 November at the Lakes Lodge Okataina for our Regional Hui focused on Browser Control & the War on Nature.

This event promises inspiration and strategy, featuring speakers like Ora Barlow from Raukūmara Pae Maunga, Bruce Clarkson and Stu Kneebone, Forest & Bird Chief Executive Nicola Toki, and Board President Kate Graeme. We'll be discussing browser control and local successes, as well as hosting a workshop that will focus on how we can all work together to influence decision makers. The optional excursion down the road to the Okataina Scenic Reserve exclosure will be led by Dale Williams, Biosecurity Officer at the BOP Regional Council, and will be a chance to see firsthand how a forest looks free from deer and wallabies.

Regional Conservation Managers, Elvisa van der Leden and Chantal Pagel, will be our MCs for the day. 😊 Further information and the full agenda can be found via the event website (link below).
