Tell Mayor Wayne Brown: Budget must prioritise nature and communities

Tell Mayor Wayne Brown: Budget must prioritise nature and communities

Aucklanders love nature. We love our bush, beaches and wildlife. Let’s show Auckland Council that we’re serious about climate action, protecting biodiversity, and taking care of our communities.

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown has released a proposal for the 2023-2024 annual budget, and Auckland Council wants to hear your feedback. This proposal includes significant cuts to climate action and environmental projects – the last things Auckland needs after devastating floods and Cyclone Gabrielle.

Tell Mayor Brown: this budget must put nature and communities first. Nature will protect us, but first we must protect nature.
