Nature Needs Climate Action
Forest & Bird members are encouraged to wear green and create signs or banners that highlight the impact climate change will have on our native species.

School students from Dunedin are using this protest to demand that the New Zealand Government acts now to hold global warming to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius before it is too late. Scientists have warned we have only 12 years before the disastrous effects of the Climate Change crisis become irreversible - let's make those years count.
Rally with us to the Octagon on Friday 15 March from 12pm. There will also be live music and speeches as well as activities such as letter writings and chalking up the streets.
All are welcome (not just students)! Bring your friends and tell everyone you know. This global crisis demands urgent action, action to attract the attention of both the media, the wider community and put pressure on the government. Let's make this EPIC.
