Outing to CUE Haven, a former dairy farm bought by Thomas and Mahrukh Stazyk who put their property into this community trust. It is being restored to a native forest by the community to use for education and enjoyment. Thomas and Mahrukh will take us on a short guided walk. After this we will drive to Mataia for a look around the homestead and garden and a talk from Gill and Kevin Adshead, who run a the kiwi sanctuary project here, and hear about their restoration work and the Forest Bridge Trust.
