Forest & Bird Fundraising Tours

DEPARTURES BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 2023 AND APRIL 2024

Forest & Bird Fundraising Tours

Naturalist and Forest & Bird President Mark Hanger has been leading small-group nature tours throughout New Zealand and Australia for more than 30 years.

In 2023 and through into 2024, Mark has put together some incredible tours with our supporters in mind, which allow you to experience nature while also helping conservation work through a donation to Forest & Bird.

Travel further afield to discover the unique botanicals and creatures of Western Australia, meet some of Tasmania’s marsupials, or experience the tropical biodiversity of New Caledonia. If you prefer to explore closer to home, Nature Quest tours in New Zealand take in the spectacular views and species of the Tasman region and Marlborough Sounds, the alpine wonderlands of the South, or the finest forest of the North Island from Napier to Whanganui.

Discover these awe-inspiring natural places in depth, through the expert knowledge and passion of Nature Quest’s guides. Travelling in small groups of 8-14 people, you will get off the beaten track and closer to some of the amazing plants and creatures who live in these environments.

Unforgettable landscapes and special flora and fauna await. Find out more about the itinerary for each trip in the brochures below or contact Mark Hanger directly for more information.
